No matter how old you are and how many relationships you have been in, most people would agree that there are too many factors that can lead to the dissolution of a relationship than can be counted on one hand, and investing some time and effort into solidifying the relationship that you are in could very well end up being just the thing that you needed to do all in all. People often think that mistakes lead to breakups and if you don’t make these mistakes then you are good to go, but the truth is that avoiding making mistakes is too hard to even consider doing.

What’s more important is that when you make a mistake, don’t let your ego get in the way. Too many people think that mistakes they have made are no big deal and they often diminish their partner’s feelings to the point where said partner would be quite upset and would subsequently not be able to continue with the relationship all in all.

You might think that accepting your mistake is the wrong thing to do but this is not the case at all. Instead, acknowledging what you have done wrong is going to make you the bigger man, and could potentially forge a path that you and your partner can follow until eventually you are back to where you were before.

Nothing is too broken to repair unless you are unwilling to fix it. More than anything else we would suggest that you never give up, because giving up means that you are admitting you didn’t have what it takes to be in a relationship in the first place and this is the biggest mistake of all.
